CDs are not available except when buying a new system. We do not carry them at the circuit.

Software needs to be updated at least once a year and we find teams share old copies on CD making the job of keeping everybody up to date much harder.

When downloading the latest verson we strongly recommend that you keep a copy on your hard drive in case you need to reinstall it for any reason later.

Obtaining latest versions

Whenever Race Studio is installed the program places a USB driver in the directory

C:\program files\aim\racestudio\usb_driver

If the computer does not automatically install the driver the following will happen :

When the PC announces it has found new hardware ( ie you have plugged in to communicate with the logger for the first time ) the computer will look for the USB driver and sometimes a winsys driver. The both are residing in the directory

C:\program files\aim\racestudio\usb_driver

- point the found new hardware wizard to that directory.

Please note this job has to be done to every computer that is used to download the logger.
